DAB case study
In the summer of 2009 we were asked to restore over 350 vehicles severely contaminated from driving through concrete slurry due to an accident during road works on a major route into a large UK city.
Upon assessing the claim, DAB rented a local site and set up a booking system to ensure that all claimants could get their vehicles cleaned with minimum disruption within five weeks of initial enquiry. We successfully restored 98% of the vehicles, ranging from prestige marques and brand new cars to older models that had been the subject of a repaint.
Our prompt action and expertise in dealing with complex multi-unit claims saved the insurer the need for expensive repaints and replacement parts as well as large hire car bills.
